The Mornington Peninsula Shire decided to transition out of providing Family Day Care services on the Mornington Peninsula. A service that is very much needed for families and children.
The report came to a Council Meeting on 23rd March, ,2021 as a confidential item so therefore I am not permitted to disclose any details of the report.

Foreshore camping on the Mornington Peninsula and in particular in Rosebud and McCrae, is an iconic destination for campers every Summer to enjoy our beautiful coastline and seaside holidays.
For many years the Shire has enjoyed a good relationship with campers who have provided invaluable feedback on how we need to improve the foreshore camping experience and contributed to the advocacy for much needed capital work improvements across the sites.

The MP Shire proposed budget has taken on the State Government's advice of a 1.5% at CPI rate increase.

The Waste Contamination Policy has been adopted by Council.
It's as just as much about education and doing the right thing when it comes to recycling than it is about just being fined for putting a single plastic wrap in the wrong bin.
Seriously there are some people out there that just keep doing the wrong thing and contaminating the recycling bin with things that just aren't meant to go in there....
