The Mornington Peninsula Shire decided to transition out of providing Family Day Care services on the Mornington Peninsula.  A service that is very much needed for families and children.  

The report came to a Council Meeting on 23rd March, ,2021 as a confidential item so therefore I am not permitted to disclose any details of the report.

But what I will say is that I did not vote to support this decision because I believed;

Those with children in primary or secondary school and who are eligible to receive the Schoolkids Bonus should be receiving the payments around this time. To be eligible you need to be receiving one of the following assistant payments. Make sure your details are updated with the Family Assistance Office/Centrelink.
