Declaration of elected Councillors Mornington Peninsula Shire
|
Mornington Peninsula Shire Council Elections 2016 - Seawinds Ward results and official declaration of successful candidates.
A sincere thank you to the community of the Seawinds ward who voted in support of my re-election to retain my seat as Councillor for the Seawinds Ward.
With your civic participation in a democratic election process you helped me to secure 25.4% of the primary vote and to secure the quota required to see me successfully elected into first place. Because of your participation and interest in the election your vote also ensured that I was the only Councillor to achieve this result across the Mornington Peninsula on behalf of the community. What an outstanding effort by all.
I also congratulate my fellow Crs elected to the Seawinds Ward Cr Frank Martin and Cr Simon Brooks and I look forward to working alongside them to achieve the best outcomes for Seawinds Ward and also the wider Mornington Peninsula community.
The official declaration of all successful candidates of the Mornington Peninsula Shire elections will be held at the Rosebud Municipal Offices, Besgrove Street, Rosebud at 4pm on Wednesday, 2nd November, 2016. You are welcome to attend.
Once again, thank you all for your tremendous support towards my re-election and I look forward to serving this community on issues that are important to you.
