Work has started to rebuild the rock revetment on the Safety Beach foreshore (at the Sailing Club end).

The Bay Trail has been diverted to allow pedestrian access outside of the work site which is divided by a temporary fence from public access and heavy machinery will be at the location for the next six weeks.

These works will help to protect the foreshore from further erosion that has been seen as the old revetment failed and storm surges impacted the foreshore.
