Pet Ownership

Posted by antonellaceli on November 17, 2012 at 10:35 PM

For your dogs sake! Dog owners need to be aware of their responsibilities when owning a dog and keeping them safe such as keeping their dog on a lead when in public places outside their property. The Shire has enforced a municipality-wide Order that means all dogs are to be on a lead when in public places or penalties will apply, except if they are being exercised in one of the designated Leash-Free areas. ..There have been tragic stories where dogs have had to be put down because they have created damage and death to other dogs, adults and children, something that could have been avoided if owners took more care of their pet's safety.
